Shire 4ft Small Double Luxury Chenille Divan Base on Legs

The Luxury is manufactured in the UK by The Shire Bed Company and is a robust small double divan base on legs that is upholstered in a durable and modern chenille fabric. This 4ft base consists of a strong and sturdy timber frame with a solid platform style top lid and comes with a choice of 13cm (5") or 20cm (8") depths. You also have the option of two leg types and styles, with a 14cm (5.5") plastic leg coming as standard or a 20cm (8") wooden leg that is available for a small charge. There are 3 colours options to choose from, with the main image showing charcoal. Simply decide on the colour that best suits your decor from the fabrics above. There's the option to upgrade to a reinforced divan, where additional wooden straps are fitted to the framework as well as a double thick top board. This results in a stronger and more durable divan base. The base has a non-slip top surface to keep a 4ft mattress firmly in place and is delivered in two parts with metal linking bars allowing you to fit the two sections together. It also comes complete with screw-in attachments for your headboard; these universal fittings can be used to fit any standard 4ft headboard.
