Combining a luxurious Lunar bed base and a pocket spring support, the Cashmere 1500 mattress also includes generous layers on natural fillings and a woven damask cover. A hand tufted finish is applied to the mattress by passing a series of tapes through the mattress at regular intervals and attaching them on both sides with woollen tufts. Due to the common problem of overheating in bed, natural fillings such as wool, cotton, silk and cashmere are used as they boast excellent breathability properties. Sandwiched between these fillings are totally independent springs, with each one housed in its own cloth pocket and designed to offer piston-like support to the sleepers body. This allows the springs to contour perfectly to your body shape. An edge guard support system surrounds the perimeter rows of springs to add strength to the finished unit. The Lunar divan offers a choice of colours, storage drawers and feet styles. Plus the option of a solid top base, a reinforced divan for extra weight or a sprung base for a softer feel.
