Boasting generous layers of natural fillings, the Cashmere 1500 mattress offers firm support and includes a soft woven damask cover and a body-responsive pocket spring interior. To reduce the risk of upholstery movement, a hand tufted finish is applied to the mattress by passing a series of tapes through it and securing them on both sides with woollen tufts. It's substantially filled with layers of wool, cotton, silk and cashmere fillings that feature excellent breathability properties to keep you cool and regulate your body temperature. Sandwiched between these fillings is a traditional pocket spring interior that's made up of totally independent springs, designed to offer piston-like support to your body. To allow the pocket springs to contour your body shape perfectly, each one is housed within its own separate cloth sleeve and are not affected by varying weights and body shapes. An edge guard support system is fitted around the perimeter rows of springs to add further strength to the border and allow you the full use of the mattress width.
