Being extra tall can have its problems when it comes to finding a bed that's long enough to keep your feet warm and cosy, that's why the Savoy Latex is now available as an extra long 6' mattress. It's not comfy or pleasant if your feet hang off the end of the bed, so to cater for those who are taller than average we are offering a range of mattresses with lengths of 6'9 and 7'. The Savoy Latex mattress combines a medium and comfortable support, a robust open-coil spring system, a layer of latex, a knitted stretch fabric cover and a hand tufted finish. The benefit of hand tufting is it pre-tensions the whole of the mattress ensuring the fillings remain firmly in place and reduces the chance of upholstery movement. The layer of natural latex adapts perfectly to the shape of your body and helps to align your spinal column, whether you lie on your side or your back. Latex is hypoallergenic, aerated to improve airflow, extremely long lasting and will retain its comfort properties throughout its lifespan. The interior is made up of a robust open coil spring system thats made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. The perimeter of the spring unit is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the border of the mattress. This lets you sleep right up to the edge without the sensation of rolling off. The mattress is designed to be one-sided and does not need to be flipped over, but still requires to be rotated from top to bottom regularly.
