The mattress offers a traditional orthopaedic support and is skilfully tailored in a soft touch cover that features a hand tufted for extra durability. The advantage of hand tufting is it pre-tensions the mattress by passing tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them on each side with a cotton tuft. This process ensures the layers of fillings are held in place and significantly reduces the possibility of upholstery movement that can cause mattresses to go lumpy. The 25mm memory foam layer is temperature sensitive and designed to soften when it comes into contact with warm surfaces, thus moulding itself to your body shape. This reduces the pressure points on your body, creating better blood circulation. It evenly distributes your body weight and results in less tossing and turning. The interior of the mattress boasts totally independent pocket springs, each in its own cloth compartment so the load on one spring does not affect the one next to it.
