Based on the oil extracted from the Eucalyptus Citriodora tree, EcoShield is the latest mattress technology and is known for its repellent qualities against bed bugs and dust mites. This oil is 100% natural, completely harmless and boasts anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties, creating a perfect sleeping surface for allergy sufferers and asthmatics. Soft to touch, its knitted stretch fabric cover gives the mattress a luxurious feel, whilst its hand tufting ensures the fillings are held securely in place on both sides. At the core of the mattress is a 12.5 gauge interior made up of rows of open coil springs assembled into one single unit with spiral helical wires that join the coils at the top and bottom. Edge-to-edge support is provided by the addition of a heavy gauge rod-edge wire that is attached to both sides of the finished construction for extra strength and durability.
