The Eco Drift is developed in the UK by Shire Bed and is made up of a deep platform top base and a generously filled mattress that incorporates EcoShield bed bug protection. The active ingredient of EcoShield treatment is 100% natural and known for its repellent qualities against insects, offering total protection from bed bugs and dust mites. A soft to touch knitted stretch fabric is used to cover the mattress and features a traditional hand tufted finish that provides a firmer feel and reduces the risk of upholstery movement. With a depth of 32cm, the Eco Drift Mattress is generously filled and benefits from several layers Hypo-allergenic white fibre fillings, ideal for allergy sufferers and asthmatics. At the core of the mattress is a 12.5 gauge interior made up of rows of open coil springs assembled into one single unit with spiral helical wires that join the coils at the top and bottom. To offer enhanced strength and support to the finished unit, a heavy gauge outer rod-edge wire is fitted around the top and bottom of the perimeter springs. Its platform style divan base comes with a selection of storage options and a range of vibrant colours. There's also the option of 3 matching floor standing headboards too.
