A standard drawer base requires additional room to allow the drawers to be opened, where as the ottoman requires no extra floor space. Another feature of this type of base is when you open it all your belongings are easily viewed and can be kept neat, tidy and organised. The ottoman base can be operated using the two lifting handles located on the side of the divan for opening. Do not use the handles for closing the ottoman, simply push the base down by placing your hands on top of the lid. To cater for a variety of bedroom decors, the base is available in a variety of fabrics and colours. There is also a choice of castors or silver glides.
