Unlike most single bases where the fabric stops at the top edge of the divan, the fabric on the Lunar wraps over the top of the divan to create a cleaner tailored edge. Hessian is a woven cloth made from Jute, one of the most versatile natural fibres known to man and is an extremely durable fabric and is available in walnut or straw finish. Priced as a standard platform top base, you can upgrade to a reinforced divan for extra weight, or a sprung base for a softer support. There's also a choice of storage, castors or silver glide feet. There are matching headboards available to complement this divan base, with the option of a strutted style or a sturdier floor standing model. The base has headboard fixings at both ends, below the fabric, allowing you to fit your headboard to any end, should you choose the drawer divan.
