Highgrove Pearl Single Mattress with Solar Divan Base

Highgrove Beds have combined their chic faux suede divan base and their extra firm Pearl mattress to create a stylish single divan set that offers a traditional orthopaedic support. The Pearl mattress is upholstered in a durable damask cover and features hypo-allergenic fillings and a 12.5 gauge spring system, one of the firmest wires used in mattress manufacturing. To pre-tension the mattress and ensure the fillings are held in place a hand tufted finish is applied by passing tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with a cotton tuft. Its open coil interior is an extremely hard wearing system that is made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. The border of the mattress is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress. This lets you sleep right up to the edge without the sensation of rolling off. Supporting the mattress is their Solar platform style, solid top divan base. It is available in several colours and a variety of storage options.
