The Solar Luxury Dream from Highgrove Beds is a small single mattress (2'6 wide and 6'3 long) that's substantially filled at 26cm deep. It has a firm and supportive feel and is upholstered in a hard wearing, damask cover with a hand tufted finish. Hand tufting is a process of nylon tapes that are passed through the mattress at regular intervals and secured on each side with a cotton tuft. The spring unit is made up of rows of hourglass shaped open coil springs, also known as a Bonnell spring system. Each spring is connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as the helical wire which runs from the head to the foot of the mattress.
