Dura Beds have paired their Latex Dream 4ft small double mattress with their Astro faux suede base to create the perfect choice for those who require a comfortable and medium support from their bed. Its outer cover has a micro quilted finish, a process that sews the outer fabric to the top layers of fillings. This creates a smooth finish and helps to reduce upholstery movement. Natural latex is a premium quality material taken from the sap of the rubber tree. It is hypo-allergenic, long-lasting and retains its comfort properties throughout its lifespan. Latex has natural elasticity that adapts perfectly to your body shape to offer independent support; it will also recover its shape immediately when pressure is removed. The mattress boasts a traditional open coil spring system. This is made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs that are assembled into one single unit using a spiral wire at the top and bottom. A thick rod-edge wire is then fixed around the top and bottom of the spring unit. This provides edge to edge comfort across the complete sleeping surface and ensures the mattress retains its shape. Being non turn, the mattress does not need to be turned over, however it will need rotation from head to toe regularly. This process will even out wear and tear, alleviate body impressions and extend the life of the mattress. Supporting the mattress is a platform style, solid top divan base that is available in a variety of storage options and several faux suede colours. There is even the choice of standard castors or stylish silver glides.
