The Savoy at 34cm deep, is a substantially filled 4ft mattress from Dura Beds that boasts body-contouring pocket springs for a medium support and generous layers of fillings for added comfort. It is upholstered in a soft to touch knitted stretch fabric cover that features a deep sculptured high-loft cushion top and a micro quilted finish that ensures the surface layers are held securely in place. Its layers are made up of hypo-allergenic fillings that boast a high level of antimicrobial and dust mite resistance, resulting in an ideal sleeping environment for allergy sufferers or asthmatics. The foundation of the mattress is its pocket spring interior; a system made up of totally independent springs that are smaller in diameter, compared to a standard 3" open coil spring. Each spring is encased within a separate flexible cloth sleeve that allows it to move independently to the ones around, providing fantastic lumber support. The result is, the springs only compress where pressure is exerted, creating a more responsive feel and allowing for motion separation between both sides of the bed.
