In addition to its soft and responsive knitted stretch fabric, Tencel has been incorporated into the cover to create the perfect microclimate, resulting in improved heat flow and moisture dissipation. To complement its Tencel properties, the mattress also features generous layers of hypo-allergenic fillings that are particularly beneficial for people who suffer from respiratory problems. At the core of the mattress is its spring interior; a system made up of totally independent pocket springs that are smaller in diameter, compared to a standard 3" open coil spring. Each pocket spring is encased within a separate flexible cloth sleeve that allows it to move independently to the ones around it and provide fantastic lumber support. The result is, the springs only compress where pressure is exerted, creating a more responsive feel and allowing for motion separation between both sides of the bed. An additional feature is a high density extra thick foam border that prevents collapse of the mattress edge. You can sleep comfortably right up to the edge with no sensation of rolling off.
