As small single beds go, there is nothing small about the Savoy Pocket 1000 from Dura Beds. Its generously filled mattress features pocket springs, substantial fillings and a depth of 34cm. Upholstered in a soft to touch knitted stretch fabric cover, the 2ft 6 mattress has a high-loft cushion top for added comfort and a micro quilted finish that ensures the fillings are held firmly in place. Its layers of fillings are hypo-allergenic, boasting a high level of antimicrobial and dust mite resistance to provide an ideal sleeping environment for allergy sufferers or asthmatics. The foundation of the mattress is its pocket spring interior; a system made up of totally independent springs that are smaller in diameter compared to a standard 3" open coil spring. Each spring is housed within its own cloth sleeve that allows it to move freely of any neighbouring springs; the result is the springs only compress where pressure is exerted. One-sided, the mattress does not need to be flipped over, but it is recommended that you rotate it regularly from head to toe to even out its wear and tear and enhance its lifespan. The matching base is available as non-storage, or a two drawer divan and you can choose between a platform top base for a firmer feel or a sprung edge divan for a softer support.
