Shire Single Faux Leather Divan Base

If you are looking for a durable, yet stylish and affordable replacement base it's hard to beat this divan from Shire Beds, thanks to its robust build and chic faux leather cover. Although the base is shown in ivory, you also have a choice of white, chocolate or black faux leather covers. You also have the choice of standard castors or stylish silver glide feet. The platform top design of the base provides a solid foundation for your mattress and comes with the option of 2 storage drawers that glide smoothly on metal runners. The base has headboard fixings concealed below the fabric at the head and foot of the divan. This allows you to fit a headboard to either end of the base. You have the option of an upgrade to a reinforced divan that's designed to withstand extra weights. Additional wooden straps run across its framework, with a double thick top lid to ensure greater stability.
