Designed to offer a firm foundation, platform style divan bases have a hard top, whilst sprung bases work in harmony with your mattress to provide a softer support. Reinforced bases are manufactured to a higher standard with a stronger and sturdier construction. This allows them to withstand additional weights and extra wear and tear.
