Skilfully crafted from the finest American white oaks, sourced only from sustainable forests, the oak is treated with a rich honey lacquer that enhances the natural charm and texture of the oak. Although Oak is a durable hardwood, it possesses superior bending qualities, finishes well and resists moisture retention. These properties make it extremely popular with furniture makers. To work in harmony with your body movement, posture sprung slats sit within the bed frame. These slats are curved and flexible, providing pressure sensitive support and good spinal alignment. All fixings are concealed on the inside of the bed frame with no unsightly bolt heads showing, unlike cheaper quality bedsteads. This gives the bed ends a clean and smooth finish.
