The deep mattress is expertly tailored in a durable Belgian damask cover that has a hand tufted finish for added strength and durability. The pocket sprung interior features totally independent springs. Each enclosed within its own cloth pocket, ensuring the load on one spring does not affect the one next to it. This allows the springs to contour to your body profile perfectly; as each spring supports you at the point of contact and will not be affected by varying weights and body shapes. The springs provide piston-like support to each part of your body and with 1000 pocket springs, (In a standard king size) you can be confident you are receiving the finest possible support. The base has the ability to elevate and adjust the head and foot end separately; or together to whatever comfort level you require. At the push of a button, you can easily change the position of the 5 way hinged mechanisms; to provide a healthy posture, pressure relief and good circulation. The head end can be raised to a sitting position to aid you when getting in and out of bed. The base also features a flexible sprung shoulder zone and sliders for lumber adjustment providing the upmost comfort and relaxation. Should you require storage; the divan base is available with a wide end drawer or a choice of 2 or 4 side drawers.
