The Steens for Kids single bed frame has a simple, yet sturdy design and is part of an exciting collection of children's pine bedroom furniture. It's solidly constructed using FSC certified timbers sourced from well-managed Scandanavian forests with due consideration for the environment. FSC certified means that all timbers used in their bedroom ranges come from a controlled forest plantation. Every time a tree is cut down a new one is planted. The bed frame is treated with a light lacquer that cares for and retains the fine qualities of the timber and enhances the charming grain of the pine's natural look. As with all European size bed frames, It has a sleeping surface of 90cm x 200cm and requires an extra long single mattress and to take care of and protect your child's mattress we also offer extra long waterproof single mattress protectors. A strong slatted base provides a solid foundation for your mattress with all fixing concealed on the inside, with no bolts or screws on show. The range caters for all ages from nursery to kids or teenagers and includes a cot, baby changing unit, chests of drawers, desks, bookcases, wardrobes, bunks, high sleeper and mid sleeper with an optional slide. With its extra length, the Steens for Kids pine bed frame is an ideal choice for growing children or taller teenagers. Please note: Bed frames are self assembly and do not include a mattress.
