The Chatham 3 in 1 bed from Shire Beds is a practical sleeping solution for a guest bedroom as it can be transformed from a single bed to a twin guest bed in a matter of seconds. It only takes up the same space in your bedroom as a single bed, but when required the under bed can be pulled out and raised up to sit beside the main bed or pushed apart. The set is upholstered in a quality damask cover with each mattress consisting of medium support open coil springs and generous layers of soft white fibre fillings. Its open coil spring interior is made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. A thick rod-edge wire is attached to the mattress border to provide additional strength and allow you to sleep right up to the edge without the sensation of rolling off. The guest base and mattress is smaller in size and measures 175cm x75cm (5'9 x 26) to allow it to fit snugly below the upper divan base that is 190cm x 90cm (6'3 x 3').
