The mattress benefits from a hand tufted finish, a process that secures the layers of fillings to the spring system, reducing the chance of upholstery movement. Strong and robust, its interior is made up of hourglass shaped open coil springs set in rows and connected into one single unit by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. To offer enhanced strength and support to the finished unit, a heavy gauge outer rod-edge wire is fitted around the top and bottom of the perimeter springs. Its deep divan base comes the the option of castors or silver glide feet and features a platform style, solid top that provides a firm foundation for the mattress.
