The mattress is neatly upholstered in a quality damask cover and features a deep quilted finish that attaches the outer cover to the surface layers of fillings. Its interior is made up of rows of strong open coil springs, set into one single unit with helical wires that are attached to the top and bottom of each row. To add strength to the unit, a thick rod-edge wire is attached to the perimeter of the spring system to prevent border breakdown and ensure it retains its shape throughout its life. Generous layers of white fibre fillings encase the springs to provide additional comfort whilst you sleep. The mattress rests upon a platform style divan base to provide a firm foundation.
