The oak used is carefully sourced from fully sustainable forests and treated with a warm honey lacquer that gives it its rich finish and enhances the natural charm and texture of the oak. The beauty of oak is amazing; although it is a hardwood, it possesses superior bending qualities and in addition to its durability, it finishes well and resists moisture retention. The bed frame features matching high slatted headboard and footboards with oversized top plinths and gently tapered corner posts. All fixings are concealed on the inside, giving the bed ends a clean and smooth finish. To provide a flexible support for your mattress, posture sprung slats sit within the frame. These slats are curved, allowing them to work in harmony with your body movement, resulting in a pressure sensitive support and good spinal alignment.
