Supplied by Kayflex, the Memory Gel Pocket 1200 is a well specified 6ft mattress that includes body-contouring pocket springs, body-moulding memory foam and Gel, the latest mattress innovation. One of the most common causes for sleep disturbance is overheating. The Gel layer is at the cutting edge of modern sleep technology and has the ability to dissipate heat away from the body. A deep 50mm layer of memory foam sits below the Gel and is temperature sensitive and specifically designed to soften when it comes into contact with warm surfaces, such as your body heat. It has the ability to mould itself to your body shape, reducing pressure points by evenly distributing your body weight. This results in better blood circulation and reduces tossing and turning. Memory foam mattresses create an ideal environment for allergy sufferers or asthmatics due to their high level of antimicrobial and dust-mite resistance. The foundation of the mattress is its pocket spring interior; a system made up of totally independent springs that are smaller in diameter, compared to a standard 3" open coil spring. Each pocket spring is encased within a separate flexible cloth sleeve that allows it to move independently to the ones around it and provide fantastic lumber support. The result is, the springs only compress where pressure is exerted, creating a more responsive feel and allowing for motion separation between both sides of the bed.
