The Shannon 4ft small double is manufactured in the UK by Highgrove Beds and boasts a combination of body-moulding memory foam and body-contouring pocket springs. It features a soft to touch bamboo cover that is recognised for its hypo-allergenic qualities, whilst its breathable venting system allows better heat dispersion away from your body. The deep 75mm layer of memory foam is temperature sensitive, designed to soften when it comes into contact with warm surfaces and moulds itself to your body shape. This reduces pressure points on your body, creates better blood circulation and results in less tossing and turning by evenly distributing your body weight. Piston-like support is provided to each part of the sleepers body, as the mattress features totally independent springs that are not affected by the one next to it. Each pocket spring is housed in its own individual cloth sleeve resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact.
