Designed to offer a firm support, the Lingfield double mattress is upholstered in a woven damask cover and combines layers of white fibre fillings and an open coil spring system. Its hand tufted finish involves passing tapes through the mattress at regular intervals in order to prevent the fillings from becoming dislodged. This generally result in a firmer feel. Supplied by AGRO, Europe's biggest spring provider, the interior of the mattress is made up of 12.5 gauge open coil springs, one of the firmest wires used in mattress manufacturing. The open coil springs are set in rows running from head to toe, with an extra thick rod-edge wire attached to the perimeter springs to add further strength and stability to the finished unit. To help you get the best from your mattress, we recommend you rotate it and flip it over on a regular basis to ensure your weight is evenly distributed through its lifetime.
