The 2ft 6 small single Cassandra electric bed is supplied by Furmanac, the UK's only manufacturer of adjustable bed mechanisms. The Cassandra mattress features a luxury cashmere wool cover and a very generous 70mm layer of hypo-allergenic latex. Cashmere is an exclusive type of wool that insulates from bitter cold in winter and extreme heat in summer due to the tiny air spaces trapped between the individual fibres. This natural insulation improves the breathability and moisture management of the textile. Latex is a natural product, taken from the sap of the Rubber Tree and is hypoallergenic, extremely long lasting and will retain its comfort properties throughout its lifespan. The layer of natural latex adapts perfectly to the shape of your body and helps to align your spinal column, whether you lie on your side or your back. Latex is often preferred over memory foam due to it being cooler and more responsive. You are able to turn in bed more easily with latex. The 5 way hinged mechanisms can change position within seconds at the push of a button. The head end can be raised to a sitting position and can assist you getting in and out of bed. The base features a flexible sprung shoulder zone and sliders for lumber adjustment providing the upmost comfort and relaxation. This is great news for people who suffer aching joints and neck pains upon waking. Should you require storage; the divan base can come with an end drawer or 2 side drawers.
